May Day in Lanreath has been growing in popularity since the year 2000 when it was revived. This year was reputed to be the best ever, with more participants and visitors coming from far and wide to join the local residents. The parade through the village led by the Lostwithiel Town Band was followed this year by the May Queen (Aliesha Bishop and her helpers), Chris Deakin on his stilts, the Lanreath Samba Unite band and the Looe Community School Band. Why not join us next May Day?
