Francis discusses the evolution and mythology of Detroit's Marche du Nain Rouge, a parade and street festival reminiscent of Mardi Gras and Burning Man.

The Great Lakes Burner Symposium took place at the Tangent Gallery in Detroit on March 21st 2015 and was organized by SPARC 501c3 to promote interactive and participatory artwork and events in the spirit of Burning Man throughout the Great Lakes Region.
