The author's name sounds similar to that of Jim Theis, the writer of "The Eye of Argon," famous as one of the worst speculative fiction stories ever written. This level looks like the work of his Doom modding counterpart, for it features completely random texturing, ridiculously hidden doors (some of which are required to win,) poorly-conceived secrets, and the most nonsensical progression I've ever seen. Since I know some people couldn't find the yellow key the first time they played this (including myself,) I'll tell you how to get it: You have to jump over the middle of the bottom of the "J" in "Jim", and then a door will open in the northeast of the room. No, seriously. Did I mention that it's possible to trap yourself in a room with no means of escape if you don't activate certain switches prior to getting there? Yeah, if you want a well-designed, well-constructed blastfest, this is not the level for you. It's best that you skip this one.

As you can expect, coming up with a good route for this chaotic mess of a level was a bit difficult. Not only do you have to account for the multiple superfluous secret tags that make up many of the 28 (!) secrets, but the way the level is set up means you have to waste time backtracking to the "Jim" room if you want UV max. Even in this sub-4:30 route, I have to take some time out to use a secret elevator I've already been on just to get back to that room so I could teleport to the red key. And even with that route planned out, I end up getting disoriented on occasion, plus I mess up the battle in the STARTAN3 pit near the end of the run, and at one point, I have to check to see if no monsters are popping in, as the monster teleporter in that spot is obnoxiously slow. I hope it's enjoyable anyway, even if just as a demonstration of what /not/ to do when making a level. Note that only 96% Secrets is possible, as one of the 28 secrets is placed in a window (to the aforementioned monster teleporter, no less) that you can never climb through.
