Technically the South African Psytrance belongs to the Twilight genre. So why have a video dedicated to it?
For two reasons. First of all South African Psytrance has a unique sound easily recognizable even among other Twilight sounds.
And secondly because before the term Twilight was established many used the ''South African Psytrance'' to describe their unique sound.

South African Psytrance made its first steps around 2002. It featured aggressive bass and techno percussion. The ''phat'' percussion is the most distinct feature of it, as well the high modulation leads and the unmatched power. Through the years it has become much more melodic and less dark, but still has the same power and edge as always.

Enjoy! :)
