Loved playing this, as did my mom...she actually broke the stones & bones floppy disk by playing it so much on a nighttime, that when she sent the disc back, the guys at Digital Illusions actually wrote her a letter and it said that they were not able to break her high score. XD

Meanwhile, you were 11 when this was released. Kids are vicious monsters, they literally have underdeveloped brains with very low capacity for empathy. Which means both you and I are attacking physically disabled people. I sometimes think the old expression "children should be seen and not heard" was perhaps created more for the children's safety rather than adults. While this game was awesome for what it was trying to do, most of it's mechanics and visual design was basically ripped straight from over 40 year old physical arcades. The music however, is very nice and unlike anything that came before. (to my knowledge)

One of the best intro music for Amiga games ever! I have goosebumps always, when I hear it!

Amazing music- I drew to this music as a kid. Still do. Still great after 20 years.  I know I got a super long version of this somewhere on tape!

Just the other day I was taking some stuff out of storage and found a tape with this, Turrican's soundtrack and a couple other Psygnosis classics recorded onto it. Couldn't find the Walkman to play it though.

Just stunning, what an amazingly broad sound this guy pulled out of 4 tracks... :O

Så jävla bra!!

Played this on the PC and i can honestly say that this game sounds better with PC Speaker then the sound blaster. If you don't believe me test it. There might be other games that use Mod Files this well with PC Speaker.

+psyku In fact, it is because, to fit the game in one 3'25 disk, the music composers must downsample the samples in MOD. And we have caracteristic scratches, not so firm loops, distorted samples when played in high or low pitch. This title music has a decompressed size of 210 ko! A fantastic tour de force!

+psyku Soundblaster occasionally has (or had) distortion isses, that's a fact. And that means what, in fact? That the PC's speaker is way better than its reputation. Well, at least the 90's ones. In the 80s it was really an obnoxious beeper (remember the IBM PC XT...)
