Michael Jary and his dance orchestra play one of the composer's own songs : "Blaues Boot" (lit. Blue Boat).
This tune became quite succesful and was also recorded by several bands... A well known recording is that of Belgian bandleader Stan Brenders...

Once again it is a nice illustration of Jary's abilities as both a composer (best remembered for the songs he composed for Zarah Leander as well as numerous musicals) and bandleader....

The video has a "maritime" theme. All pictures were part of a calendar published by the Belgian automobile club in the late 1920s / early 1930s...
