Political enthusiasts aren't the only ones in Charlotte for the Democratic National Convention. The Occupy Movement is camped out at Marshall Park, which is just across the street from the court house and on the edge of uptown Charlotte. Dozens of tents have been erected. There haven't been any real problems at this point as law enforcement and park personnel have been keeping an eye on things. Protesters started putting up their tents in the few days leading up to Sunday's march. That march was not nearly as large as many had feared. The group camping out says it's arguing against the big banks, many of which are headquartered here in Charlotte. They're also in favor of neither Democrats nor Republicans. They say both parties are owned by large corporations. Follow Russ Bowen on Twitter @RussBowenNews13
