The Philippine biodiversity is in DANGER!!

What was once a threshold of an abundant and healthy variation of species, especially of marine organisms, is now facing a bitter truth its deterioration!

This is all our fault. Illegal logging, mining, waste dumping, dynamite and cyanide fishing and coral reef destruction are but hard proofs of this crime against the environment and against the humanity that depends on it.

And since we've started it, we've got to be the one to stop it!

This is what we are aiming to convey to each and every individual. The issue of environmental abuse has always been one of the most compelling and controversial issues of today. Yet, many still remains indifferent.

Thus, with the help of the media's increasing influence to the public, we want to trigger the attention of the Filipinos and remind them of their involvement in this issue. Through this video, we want to show them how beautiful the Philippines was and how damaged it is now. More than that, we want to show them that they could still do something about it. We want them to be aware, be involved, and be an advocate.

This video was made to make the Filipinos, especially of this generation, realize that though the Philippines is a small country, the diversity of lives that it harbors is big. Thus, we want them to know that our country is not too small to be saved, and neither are we, the youth, too small to save it!

Note: In line with the objective of conveying the message of this video to a wide scope of people, with emphasis to the youth, this video was uploaded in websites frequently accessed by teenagers such as Friendster, Multiply and YouTube.
