Alpha Battery 2/3 FA spent nearly a week on certifying on the M119. This is the second Howitzer piece that 2/3 FA has certified on during live fire exercises on Fort Bliss, Texas.

The U.S. M119 Howitzer is a lightweight 105-mm howitzer artillery piece primarily used by the U.S. Army. The M119 can be easily airlifted by aircraft or helicopter, or dropped by parachute. The M119 does need a recoil pit.
