http://hhskate.com Just North of Atlanta, Ga lies a tiny slice of heaven in the form of Progressive Skatepark. Although the heat outside was rising into the hundreds, the atmosphere inside Progressive was one of pure, cool, ripping fun. The well constructed ramps and obstacles lend themselves to a style of skating that supports non-stop shredding. You never have to stop and rarely push. It's all flow and shred here at Progressive.

Coming out strong were dudes like Trey Abad, who's smooth style and clean lines definitely caught the eye of the judges. Making his way to the finals was Solomon Mosley. A Hometown homie, Solomon killed switch tailslides and nollie heel noseslides all day. Also in the finals we saw Kyle Register. Killing it with speed and aggression, Kyle mashed switch barley grinds and a hard half-cab to feeble transfer across the flat bar. Joey Pelligrino ripped all day and was a shoe in for the finals. Joey pulled almost every single trick he tried. With standout maneuvers like back 180 nosegrind reverts and Bennett grinds down the handrail, it's nothin' but blue skies for Joey. A crowd favorite was Zeke Logan. Ruling the finals with smooth style all over the course, Zeke destroyed all over the place and swept a smooth backside bigspin down the doubleset at the buzzer.

When all was said and done the outcome was certain. Third place went to Zeke. Solomon came in second. With a bottomless bag of tricks, Joey took home the $500 cash prize and the first place honor without a doubt. Truly a super contest hosted by a top-notch skatepark.

*Joey, sorry bout your name!
