This is in response to the furor that has generated over BlackbusterCritic, his positions regarding PC gaming, and his interactions with other members of the commentary community.

I pretty much assume the neutral side of the whole argument but I do try to illustrate why I take this position. Video games for me are a distant topic to begin with so I fail to understand why video games should be such a serious topic that is ultimately treated as a life or death situation (with regards to unnecessary arguments).

The whole console and PC wars is ridiculous because it's all about subjectivity. Which is better or worse should be dependent on you and not the blithering idiots who spout their biased opinions to try to sway your judgment. It's about fighting over unnecessary minutiae. That complicates everything.

To the commentary community: While I understand the animosity towards BBC, poorly attempting to troll him won't make us look any better than we do now. And defending such poor trolling also yields negative results. That makes us look like no account jerks who try to start fights with anyone without properly preparing for the backlash. That's just a sign of naivete.

Hope you enjoy this.
