Austrian Chancellor Visits Novabase And Tries Electric Car
Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann was at Novabase on 14 January to take part in a presentation on the Electrical Mobility Program in Portugal. This government head's visit to Portugal stems from Austria's interest in renewable energies, and particularly in this pioneer project on a worldwide scale.
Novabase Executive Luis Lobo says that "the Electrical Mobility project has shown the world an innovative Portugal, capable of bringing together its best companies to produce technologically advanced solutions and quickly implementing a world-class electrical mobility network nationwide."
Carlos Zorrinho, State Secretary for Energy and Innovation, and João Dias, in charge of the Electrical Mobility Office, accompanied Chancellor Werner Faymann who, after the presentation, for the first time ever, test drove an electric car and saw how the service station works.
