Here on YouTube.com/NG9D we spend a lot of time fiddling around with low power (QRP) radio transmitters, simple receivers, home-made wire antennas and various little gadget kits, celebrating perhaps the best hobby in the world - Ham Radio! In this video we test out a coax fed 20m wire loop supported by a tree in the backyard. The feed point is just a few feet above ground. The loop is used on 20, 17 and 15 meters in QSOs with stations in Mexico, Bosnia and Herzgovina, Sweden, Hungary, Spain, Russia, Italy, France, The Czech Republic, and England. The loop was cheap and easy to safely install from ground level and with tuner can be used on ham bands 20m thru 10m, 73, Lynn/NG9D
