In today's podcast, the Hate-Bit whoremasters level criticism at Obsidian studios' 'Project Eternity' Kickstarter (and to the bleating sheep that donated to said project), Yellkaos vivisects Nintendo's Wii U Press Conference, Sam Dunn (of 'Metal: A Headbanger's Journey' fame) is called a weiner, and the iPhone 5 takes two in the chest!

All that... and a very vitriolic double-team rant from RazörFist and Alpha concerning the new, 'streamlined' Robocop reboot design.

When Kaos starts singing 'When a maaaan loves a woman' Jesus christ i laughed so hard i cried.
RE:video game music i get that it's not everyone's jam but the bar that's set here for it to be considered "successful" is retarded. Being on a top 40 doesn't mean shit. Those lists are often biased to whatever the flavor of the week is being pushed (especially in the past few years) The metal genre isn't my thing but i don't go around bashing it.

I think a band named vektor originated in Phoenix and relocated to Pittsburgh
Man, it was a funny segment, but there was a lot of bullshit spewing and misinformation during that Alternative Metal bit. In Flames were never metal? Sure they weren't. They were only one of the three bands that pioneered what we know today as Melodic Death Metal (and to a lesser extent, Folk Metal), releasing FIVE fucking albums in that style. Shut the fuck up Sainted. And Lamb Of God were never a hardcore band. They started in the mid 90's as Burn The Priest, playing a strange mix of what most people consider to be Grindcore, Sludge and Groove with MAYBE a little Punk/Hardcore influence. By 2003 they were playing groovy Thrash Metal under their current name. Their Metalcore era only came later with albums like Ashes Of The Wake and Sacrament which featured a handful of breakdowns, and they haven't been a part of that scene in years seeing as these last few albums have just basically been Groove Metal. Alternative Metal is simply an umbrella term for bands who are somewhat rooted in metal but have strong elements of another genre outside of metal, usually Alternative Rock. Stuff like Tool and System Of A Down can be considered alternative metal, for example, and they didn't "turn metal" just because it was popular. It's always been the root of their sound.

Killswitch Engage! YUUUS!
Gold Giggers/Booker Dust was a great tag team. Dio and Black Sabbath are what sent me down the metal road. Re: video game music. I like bands like The Megas, who put lyrics to video game music.
I paused this shit because I was busy. I came back an hour later, pressed play and heard Kaos say "Politicians are fucking you in the ass." I loled til i cried.
