2016, starts with getting https://codewave.com domain name from a gentleman Mr. Rich Whitsell from the US, who didn’t ask for money in return, but requested that we donate to Doctors Without Borders.

Codewave turned 3, in May 2016 and as a culmination of our 3 year journey we’re building our own product, called Peerly (peerly.in) to help companies build great workplaces with values we believe in - empathy, transparency and peer comfort.

Codewave announced it’s first Customer FairPlay Award in June 2016, with a $100 waiver on our fee. Inspired by a french cafe’ that offered discounts to customers who were polite, we started an initiative to recognize customers who’re voted by our team members as the most “open, fair and motivating” and who take a moment to say hello and connect.

Codewave in July 2016, hosted an internship for a customer’s son Vinay, who had just graduated from high school. We designed and developed a mobile app to bring his vision to life; a social project intending to help NGOs raise funds. He also happened to give one of the most riveting talks at our weekly Leadership Cafe’, quoting why India needed more trade schools than theory schools.

In Aug 2016, one of our favorite customers Daniel Gubler, from Switzerland chose to celebrate his Birthday and 5th anniversary of his business with Codewave, remotely on Skype. We also celebrated launch of the pro version of his apps we developed, leading to Dan retiring from his insurance career of more than 25 years and pursuing his own venture.

In October 2016, Codewave enabled the launch of a 2 wheeler ride sharing app (similar to OLA) called Vroom, for Chennai. Watched another startup, take off in style this year. Codewave has also enabled launch of other promising start-ups like Lawmatters.com , Testimoney.com and MoneyParrot.com this year accelerating businesses, running on technology.

We believe being an app development services company, we’ve had an opportunity to be a platform that brings people together on profound, engaging journeys of trust, connection and exchange.
