Normally a less expensive cut of meat, but when cooked properly, belly of pork is a soft as any meat. This slow cooker pork belly recipe really helps the meat become so soft that it flakes as soon as you touch it. The simple spices and an aromatic flavour to the pork belly, to make this a perfect dish for the slow cooker.

We served ours with Stir Fry Veg and Edamame beans, using some of the juices from the bottom of the slow cooker to essentially steam it with the flavours that have been caught from the pork, onions and spices.
