Congressional Republicans and Benjamin Netanyahu partnered in common cause to build support for a preemptive war with Iraq. Netanyahu gave testimony to a Congressional Committee, which hastened the rush to war with Iraq. He was wrong about much of what he told Congress. This clip from his testimony is one example. Netanyahu boasted, "If you take out Saddam, I guarantee you that it will have enormous positive reverberations on the region."
