http://www.AllSurfaceRenew.com Did you know pink bathtubs are still around? These cast iron bathtubs are timeless because the material they are made out of doesn't get damaged easily and they have a beautiful look to them.

This project takes us to Burnet, TX where the homeowner has had an old iron pink bathtub that was perfectly fine for his own use - but now it needs to be updated.

Recently he decided to put his home on the Real Estate market and one thing that his Realtor told him he must update is the pink porcelain bathtub by either replacing or refinishing. Unfortunately pink does date a home and doesn't appeal to most people - so he had to do something quickly.

They gave us a call, and scheduled us to come out and professionally refinish the bathtub and make it a more neutral Porcelain White.

We drove out, removed the old crusty caulking where the tile meet the tub, prepared it and got it ready during the preparation process, and then resurfaced the porcelain surface with a low-pressure air system.

After we finish with the application, we re-caulk the area about the bathtub, remove the masking, and install a new glue-in drain that refaces the old damaged drain shoe he has now.

The finished result is what you see in the video - a recolored bathtub that updates the whole look of the bathroom, and is going to last for many more years to come for the next homeowner.
