Here is my custom built mini arcade machine/cabinet.

The cabinet is made entirely of 12mm MDF with 3mm Clear Acrylic for Marquee and Monitor Bezel. Has at least 6 coats of paint for maximum gloss and durability.
I based my cabinet design on some plans that have been produced by koenigs at http://www.koenigs.dk. This site is worth checking out.

For the internals, I have an Xbox motherboard and PSU - not much room for anything bigger, I also made one of these with a Micro ATX motherboard. I have 100W amp and stereo surround speakers, 12V strip light (for the backlit marquee), 17" LCD/PC Monitor, AV to VGA conversion box to convert video output from Xbox Motherboard.
I hacked a keypad to provide the interface for the joystick and buttons.

I designed the marquee and control panel using some great fan art for MegaMan that i found online at http://www.minitokyo.net. Many thanks to mxlmp295arm

Xbox has been soft-modded to run Unleash-X and I have created a custom MegaMan skin with a MegaMan soundtrack that I also found on a fan site at http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02237/ Many thanks to WillRock for this awesome remix.

For roms, I have 2 options, the legit/legal option is to run Taito Legends from the original CD - which I have backed up to the HDD. I customised the controls to work specifically with this game.
Other option is to launch CoinOps to provide frontend for all Arcade and console games. CoinOps is easily customised to work with my control panel.

Cabinet can also be used to play DVD and as a music jukebox.

Anyway, hope you like the video and welcome your feedback.

Cheers
