Newtown tragedy a "reminder" to Obama "to do more," Carney says

During his daily briefing Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told CBS News correspondent Major Garrett that while President Obama has been committed to averting the "fiscal cliff" and tightening gun control for "a long time," it's "worth recognizing" that the Newtown, Conn., shooting reminded the president and all Americans what they have in common.
