Problem with Virtualdub, premiere 6.5, H.264 and ffdshow

this is a video taken with EOS 7D. I encounter problem in virtualdub:

setup 1 (show in the video) ffdshow disabled
-Premiere 6.5 can open, can see frame, and crash when it tries to play
-Virtualdub as seen in this video, weird grey screen

setup 2 enable ffdshow
-premiere 6.5 appear green screen and crash
-virtualdub show first frame then crash


Solution found:
While opening file, check 'EXTENDED IMPORT OPTIONS', then select decoder mode to ICM Decomp
