Before replacing the cables you will need to follow steps 1-18 at http://ddmgaragedoors.com/diy-instruc....

Broken and frayed cables are two of the more common repair tasks for garage doors. When I first replaced cables on a Wayne Dalton Torquemaster system several years ago, it took me over an hour to figure out how to do it. I was also afraid that I would damage the parts by taking everything apart. Then I had to make an extra trip to to get the thinner 3/32" cable. All I had on my truck was the thicker 1/8" cable.

You can purchase 3/32" cables for your Torquemaster spring and cable system at http://ddmgaragedoors.com/parts/cable...
