Especially when using the 15" Retina MacBook Pro on my lap it often crashes with a kernel panic. It seems to be related to using the discrete graphics card and a certain position on the lap. Sometimes reproducible by pushing the bottom case at one specific point. The NVIDIA GeForce GT650M is located in that area.

Update: The Macbook Pro has been accepted after the second attempt by the service center and got a new logic board.

Update 2: Logic board replacement didn't help. Similar problems started again. Took it directly to Apple instead. This time logic board as well as SSD got replaced and since then no more problems.

The crashlog then usually shows a:
panic(cpu 4 caller 0xffffff7fa713a7f2): NVRM[0/1:0:0]: Read Error 0x00000100
