Hi everyone! In this video I show you how you can sculpt your face by contouring and highlighting.
Here are the time stamps for the before and after shots since they are brief in the video:
4:52 From bare face to foundation with no contouring yet. You can see how there is less dimension after applying the foundation.
4:54 From just foundation to sculpted. This will be the most dramatic.
4:55 From bare face to sculpted. This won't and shouldn't look too extreme and different because we brought back dimension to the face while enhancing the features.
Feel free to click and pause :)
Want to bring more dimension and shape to your face? Sometimes wearing a matte or heavier coverage foundation can can really diminish a lot of the natural shadows that give the face more dimension.
Want to create the illusion of balance or proportion on the face? As you watch the video you will find that there isn't just one clear cut way to contour and highlight. It can be more effective to only contour or highlight certain areas to create more balance.
With the idea of creating illusions of depth and light you can also slim down the cheeks and nose, strengthen or soften the jawline, shrink or elongate the width and height of your face, create lift such as on the cheekbones and nose bridge, or whatever your heart desires! :)
