ancestry is largely an exaggeration as well. most DID NOT intermarry with native americans. Instead, many moved out of native territory and set up their own ALL BLACK towns, such as in wiley oklahoma which u can see in this video.

and most got their 40 acres of land, as also seen in this video. so in fact, native tribes owe freedmen NOTHING.
