Gatorade has been a favorite drink of athletes since 1965, when it was first used by the Florida Gators football team. Today, lots of people drink it as much for its great taste as for the beneficial effects. For whatever the reasons you want some Gatorade, it's just good sense to get some coupons before buying. Here's how:

You can purchase Gatorade from gas stations, convenience stores, supermarkets, and more. Your local retailers are generally the ones with the most coupons. Supermarkets for example, generally have weekly salespapers replete with coupons and promotions. You can find these in the mail, as you enter the store, or even by checking the recycling bin. When buying Gatorade, you may receive a printed coupon like buy 3 bottles get one free with your receipt for use on your next purchase. Also, keep an eye out for coupon books from RedPlum and Smartsource.

If that's not going to work, jump online and check the official website for your store of choice. Many companies, Kroger or CVS for example, offer coupons and specials online that can be printed and used in their stores. Other times you might find coupons which aren't specifically for Gatorade, but offer discounts on purchases for a range of products, including the sports drink. RedPlum and SmartSource also have websites with Gatorade coupons like a free 32 oz. bottle with select purchases. Be sure to sign up for any newsletters sites might offer too, so you'll know about coupons in the future.

Gatorade maintains its own official Facebook page and Twitter feed which you can follow for free. While coupons might not always be available, these sources can be great for finding out about, and entering, sweepstakes and other promotions. One recent contest asked entrants to Tweet their best pre-activity tip for a chance to win a G Series prime pack.
