Tony was before my time. I started mixing in 2000. My early heros were Oakenfold, PvD, then Sasha and Digweed as my tastes and appreciation for the art of mixing/DJing matured. I'd heard Tony's name mentioned a few times here and there, knew he mixed the first GU. Then I heard Sasha and Diggers both looked up to this man for his mixing skills and ability to craft sets and control a floor. I finally got around to listening to this mix now, in 2017, and can say I understand why. This mix is incredible. It is flawless, fiercely energetic, euphoric, peaks in just the right places, relaxes when you need it to. You hear not only skill, but immense passion and joy shining right through. I'm so thankful this survived and got uploaded. This should be required listening for aspiring mixologists. With very few exceptions, this guy would wipe the floor with modern DJs. I don't even like hard house, and it's giving me goosebumps. He is a true master and I see why he is so loved.
