Rolf Reitz is developing advanced computer models for fuel injected engines, including diesel and spark-ignited engines. Here he discusses how combustion modeling allows improvements to engine design, enabling vehicles to take advantage of alternative fuels. Reitz is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He's also a member of the Wisconsin Engine Research Center (WERC), as well as the Model Fuels Consortium. This video is part of the Distinguished Speaker Series brought to you by Reaction Design. http://www.reactiondesign.com
