An estimated 10,000 Australians live with a spinal cord injury - but data on their treatment and rehabilitation is scant.

Now there's a push to set up a national registry, to follow patients' progress.

Advocates say the database will help improve outcomes... And reduce costs in what can be a life-long recovery.
