What does it mean when a university describes itself as "Catholic," "Jesuit/Mercy" and "urban?" Following on his previous talk about what the noun "university" means, John Staudenmaier, S.J. explores the core adjectives of University of Detroit Mercy. Fr. Staudenmaier discusses each of these terms as to how they affect the people, mission and identity of UDM.
