In this panel hosted by CU's Center for Jazz Studies, Canadian avant-garde artist Eric Metcalfe presents and discusses his work and its relationship to jazz. He is joined by pianist and composer Jason Moran, and by Naomi Beckwith, Associate Curator at the Studio Museum in Harlem. Their talk turned on the mutual inspiration of visual art and improvisation, and the possibilities for curating art and sound media within the same museum or performance space.
