Done with a 32 channel Light-o-rama system for my 2010 Halloween party. My wife and I built this structure just off our garage to house everything. The vertical lights are some sort of plastic track that I found at one of the big box diy stores for cheap. I drilled holes in the back of them and pushed a mini (christmas) light through each of the 200 holes.
Unfortunately you can't see the blacklights, but they were incredibly powerful The entire thing was done up with fake hot glue spider webbing that we put up with our web shooter (glue gun connected to an air compressor).
The 2010 in the back are all done with cardboard and mini lights pushed through.
Just in this setup alone we used over 1000 foot of extension cords in order to keep everything up above and hidden. We needed to since this stage was used for our costume contest. (and little kids danced on it like crazy)
