Fingal County Council’s Memory Makers Awards took place on Thursday 28th May 2015 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Blanchardstown. The event has been specifically designed for the active age community and took place during the national Bealtaine festival
which is about celebrating creativity as we age. The emphasis of the competition was on the Memory evoked by craft and short story. Fingal County Council’s team of Community Development officers work closely with many senior groups and organisations.
The event included an exhibition of craft work and writing from some of the 80 entries across Fingal including Blanchardstown, Swords, Malahide, Howth, Baldoyle, Balbriggan and the Naul.
