- For flat and slightly sloping routes
- One double-pole-push for each 2nd leg-push
- Starting position: legs are closed - arms are stretched
- Swing through arms and shift weight from one leg to the other
- Active arm swing
- Body stretching
- Gliding with slightly bent knee
- Bring legs together and swing out push-off leg
- Before pushing off again - bend the knee further
- Swing arms slightly forward up to eye level
- Put down the ski as evenly as possible

- Bend the upper body slightly forward during push-off
- Flowing transition between arm work and leg work
