Here's a video of me sparring at Keatkharmtorn Gym in Bangkok. After our morning run, we would warm up with 150 - 300 knees on the bags, before engaging in 3 rounds of shadow boxing. Thereafter, we will work on the bags for as long as necessary -- under the watchful eyes of the trainers and fighters -- before we are called up to the ring for pad work. After 5 smashing rounds which leave us gasping for breath, we will pause for a short water break before continuing with a technical sparring session. What follows is a clinching exercise with the Thai fighters so as to refine our techniques. Most of the time, we will end up with our backs on the ground since the fighters / trainers at Keatkharmtorn are renowned for their superior clinching techniques. We end our training session with physical conditioning exercises before we indulge in a hearty and authentic Thai meal that's prepared by the gym's resident cook. I seriously recommend KeatKharmtorm to anyone who is passionate about Muay Thai. Find out more about the camp at www.keatkharmtorn.com
