A brief introductory video on the grammar and translation of John 17:5. Carefully, observe how the Greek word einai is used in the New Testament. If you are careful, you will see that the English translation "the world WAS" expresses a different idea than what einai means.
The interpretation in this video presumes the words "I was having.... before the world" refers to something occurring prior to creation. See Part III for an alternative interpretation (coming shortly). I have tried to simplify this as much as possible for those who know nothing about Greek.
