The great, but often unconvincing, unbeaten run came to an end with an often lethargic display against Stourbridge. After a few early quarter chances for United, the Glassboys started to make strong runs at FC's defence and Kayleden Brown was the first to be rewarded with a shot right into the corner of the Dave Carnell's net. A disallowed goal for offside was soon followed up by what proved to be winner by Kristian Ramsey-Dickson to leave FC two down at half time. United had a better second half and Frank van Gils' trickery fed Tom Greaves to pull one back for the Reds, but it was to only be a consolation as the nine-game unbeaten stretch came to an end.
