Testing out the Elite Dangerous Companion (originally made for G19 keyboards) as ported for use with OVR Display Port.

Results in having a very cool tool/screen in-game that allows you to stream radio, youtube playlists, spotify premium (assuming you have an account), Galnet news, Reddit, all manner of stuff. Really keeps you in the experience and adds a nice layer of immersion that makes the ship feel like home.

What doesn't make it through on the flat screen is when the video is smaller/more transparent it's hung directly on the wall and about 2.5ft diagonal. When gazed upon it blows up to about 6ft diagonal and makes a really nice projected hologram look right up against the wall. My type-7 just got an entertainment center.

Unfortunately to capture it you have to pull video from the Vive's mirror and not the game mirror. Means I had to take a small inside chunk of the left eye's view and blow it up, hence the crap resolution.
