Today I went shooting with my old Canon 30D, a camera I still enjoy shooting with. If you're looking for an inexpensive backup DSLR or are interested in diving into the DSRL world for very little money, the 30D is hard to beat. I went shooting at a local park just before the PM golden hour, and the 30D performed really well. The 30D is simple to use, and is a great stepping stone into more advanced DSLRs. If you master the 30D, you will easily master much more sophisticated DSLRs.
Correction: The 30D came out in 2006, making it 12 years old, not 18. I was thinking of the Canon 10D that was available in 2003. Sorry! . Music: After All by Geographer. License: Attribution not required. Eternal Structures by Asher Fulero License: Attribution not required.
Coming soon: Using a Canon 10D with a Canon "nifty fifty".
