Prepare to Survive is a series of videos on hurricane preparedness topics and is produced during hurricane season in Pinellas County, with new shows appearing monthly.

This edition features the steps boaters can take to prepare for a storm. Tommy Sand, with the Harbourmaster’s office at the Dunedin Municipal Marina, reviews the basics of clearing the decks, securing the boat to the dock, anchoring and mooring, plus ways to get the boat in tip-top shape to weather the storm.
