The LG Optimus 4X HD was first shown at Mobile World Congress 2012, we're taking another look at it at CTIA Wireless 2012. Currently unavailable in the U.S., this beast of an Android powered smartphone touts a quad core processor. The industry describes the processor technology as "4 plus 1" as there is technically a fifth core dedicated to power management. Which we're told can process light weight apps like the music player in the background on this core without affecting battery. Though we did not get real-world battery benchmarks from LG, they state this will help battery life in a smartphone of this power significantly.
