MDMA vs Ecstasy

I discuss the difference between MDMA and ecstasy. I thought I'd better make this video because my data from the MDMA Facebook survey, showed that over 50% of respondents did not understand that there is a difference between MDMA and ecstasy.

MDMA is one of many potential chemical components of illicit ecstasy pills and powders that are distributed among recreational users. On rare occasions ecstasy pills/powders are pure MDMA. More often though, ecstasy pills/powders are a combination of substances. This can include MDMA, but it can also include a combination of adulterants such as methamphetamine, DXM, caffeine, and numerous research chemicals.
