This BlitzRCWorks/Starmax A-10 Thunderbolt has given me quite a few problems. It's an awesome looking plane (I used some flat paint and custom "The Boys From Syracuse" decals) and sounds sweet, but the retracts are super weak and snapped off while rolling on a baseball diamond. I engineered some fixed gear mounts as a cheap solution.
After only a handful of flights, an ESC caught fire, melting a nacelle! Luckily I got the fire out before the plane was totaled. I purchased this jet from bananahobby.com, and I was pleasantly surprised and thankful that they replaced the ESC and nacelles at no charge! This video is of the re-maiden after the new ESCs were installed. I also decided to add a UBEC to take some strain off of the ESCs.
