Ensemble Inversus singing in an April 2, 2011 concert at the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Montreal, Quebec. Debut concert of a new chamber choir comprised of young Montreal singers, many of whom studied or are studying voice at McGill University. We are an un-conducted ensemble, but I provide some direction and keep things organized.

When Alan Turing killed himself by eating a poisoned apple, his life had been destroyed by chemical castration and the social disgrace of being an outed homosexual in 1950s England. He left these words as his epitaph, and I've made them into a new-agey sort of shape-note tune, using the stacked fifths sonorities of Georgian music.
