That's right, the complete Elite Four challenge plus the champion battle, all in one video. I was bored, so I decided to tackle the E4 with my team before making the final grinding. I was surprised when I saw I could defeat them at my current level.
Lorelei is easy enough. Thunderbolt will do for most of her team. Use a Fire type or a Ghost type for Jynx.
Bruno is pretty easy. Use Water or Grass on his Onix and Psychic to destroy his Fighters.
Agatha is a tricky one. Aerial Ace and Faint Attack are effective against Gengar and Haunter. Therefore, I recommend using a Pidgeot or a Persian. The rest of her team is Poison, so Psychic/Earthquake away.
Lance is a tough cookie. All of his Pokemon pack Hyper Beam. Watch out for Aerodactyl and Dragonite. They can prove to be mighty powerhouses against you. Gyarados goes down easily with a Thunderbolt, though.
Finally, there's Blue, the Champion. Or whatever you named him. His Pidgeot is pretty solid and will spam Sand Attack. Finish him quickly. Alakazam's Psychic will sweep your team. A strong physical move may bring him down in one shot. Otherwise, use high Sp. Def. Pokemon, like Snorlax. Rhydon is meh. Use Surf on it. Exeggutor's moveset isn't very great. Just be done with him quickly before he sets up his whole moveset. Arcanine's Flamethrower is devastating. Rain Dance + Surf woks wonders against him. Gyarados is easy as ever. Thunderbolt'd.
Now for his starters, I'd have extra care with Charizard's Flamethrower and Blastoise's Surf. Venasaur's Sunny Day will be his undoing. Use Rock Slide against Charizard and sweep Blastoise away with Thunderbolt.
As you can see, it's all about strong attacks rather than high levels. Hoped this video helped you. Yes, I plan on recording the E4 rematch, but that'll come way later.
