Agile Marketing can help companies respond more quickly to changes while improving communication throughout their different departments. This video is based on a presentation I made during one of our Agile Marketing Meetup.

I go through the reasons why marketing teams need to be more agile:
- We entered an age of Speed and uncertainty
- There is a proliferation of new communication channels
- Marketing teams are overwhelmed with new tools
- Companies have to react to their competitors more quickly
- New products need to be released more often
- Companies might need to react to Brand Damaging events or take advantage of some newsjacking opportunities.

Meanwhile the consumer is more volatile, vocal, connected, and therefore, demanding.

To help, we can apply the following agile marketing principles:
- Customers first
- Cross Functional Teams
- Improved communication
- More transparency
- Be biased towards action

The differences between agile and traditional marketing are:
- Validated Learning over Opinions and conventions
- Customer Focused Collaboration
- Adaptive and Iterative campaigns over big bang ones
- Customer Discovery over Static Prediction
- Flexible over Rigid Planning
- Responding to Change over Following a Plan
- Many Small experiments over Few large bets
