October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, but this year at North Raleigh United Methodist Preschool, "THINK PINK DAY" was celebrated for the first time. Stephanie Beguelin, a dedicated parent and volunteer at the school had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and the staff, children and parents decided to express their support by declaring a "THINK PINK DAY." The daylong celebration would include special art projects, breast cancer screening information for parents, a pink parade and a pink balloon release.
