A micro film I shot just to practice linear, narrative editing and matching action. Also wanted to do some more moment-based micro-films that just tell a short moment - a glimpse into a life, if you will - rather than a story. That's why I'm going to be filming a series of "moments," called, of course, A Day in the Life.
I think moments are more important than most filmmakers realize - it's always about this plot point or this act break. Not enough writers, directors or editors spend time just crafting moments that mean something. I don't know, maybe that's a bit abstract, but I plan to woodshed my ability to convey a sense of purpose in the simple things that we do every day.
