CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Investigators spent all day Saturday at the scene of a massive fire in Indian Hill that destroyed a multi-million dollar estate. The road was closed to the property off Cunningham Road and police tape was up. Captain Clarence Smith of the Madeira-Indian Hill Joint Fire District said investigators are starting to look and map out how they want to carry on the investigation. He also said that, due to the size of the home, multiple agencies are assisting the investigation. We have the State Fire Marshall and the Hamilton County Arson Team in, all for cause and origin, Smith said. There's no indication of a cause at this point. We don't have an indication yet as to where it started. We are trying to get that mapped out and the rest of the exploration will start on Monday, he added. The fire started about 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. It took more than 100 firefighters many hours to get the fire out. Captain Smith says no one was home at the time of the fire. The homeowner's son made a post on Facebook shortly after the fire started saying Please pray for my family, you will soon see on the news that our home has burned down and there is nothing left of our possessions.According to the Hamilton County Auditor's website, the 10,000 square foot home was built in 2006 and is valued at more than $4 million.
