Change is the only constant in life, and in this video we talk about how healthcare is changing and what it means for providers.

We compare the change in healthcare with the evolution of communication. We went from sending smoke signals to sending messages via our phone. Today, more patients are enrolled in high-deductible health plans, which means they are paying for more out of pocket for their healthcare. It’s changing how they make decisions about how their money is spent and what they expect from providers.

Providers can manage in this changing environment by rethinking how they manage the revenue cycle and focusing on front-end processes like registration, eligibility and benefits, upfront collections. Often, the provider’s best chance of getting paid occurs before the patient leaves the office.

We wrap up the video by emphasizing that change is more important than ever, and that by simplifying and streamlining revenue processes, providers can achieve better patient engagement and an improved financial outlook.
